The moment you walk inside, it's not just another counter service establishment. Casual dining tables are ready to hold Chinese favorites, including beef stew with noodles and chicken fried rice. Start out with a soup which is a traditional way to begin a meal in China. Hot and sour or won ton soups are delectable and get your palate ready for larger entrees later on. Even ask for chopsticks after the soup to try out this unique utensil. You'll feel like a country native with some chopstick practice.

If you're hungry for something between the soup and entree, the appetizers will open your eyes to a brand new world. Deep fried squid and fresh oysters are part of the tasty starters. If you aren't a seafood fan, egg rolls and spareribs are also available to share among friends. Chicken, duck, beef, pork and seafood are the main meats. We have found the food very good on several visits.Actually never disappointed, though you might find different I suppose.

Enjoyed the hot and sour soup. Needed to add some spice for our taste but rich broth and lots of good ingredients.

There's a dish here that I just can't quit.
I've never actually seen it prepared anywhere else, but it's basically Westlake beef soup with fried wontons floating around in it. Yes, you read that correctly fried wontons.I can't even begin to describe the depth of flavor and texture presented by this combination but it is perfect. On the menu, it's called "Supper wonton soup" presumably it's supposed to be "Super" but who knows. Make sure when you order it though, that you do tell them that you want the soup with the fried wontons, because I've ordered it once before and gotten something completely different and inferior.
